About Panna's Pantry

Panna’s Pantry was born out of one simple idea — South Asian fashion should be celebrated, shared, and sustainable.

Our Story

As a 20-something living in the big city, I quickly learned that my shoebox-sized apartment had room for everything—except my growing collection of shoes, dresses, bags, and accessories. With my closet overflowing, I started stashing pieces in my kitchen cabinets, creating my own little “pantry” of fashion treasures.

That’s when the idea for Panna’s Pantry really clicked.

I’ve always loved South Asian fashion—the colors, the craftsmanship, the heritage, the joy of dressing up. But in the U.S., I noticed how many of our outfits were worn once (or never at all), only to sit packed away in storage. At the same time, so many women were looking for beautiful pieces without the high price or hassle of buying new designerwear.

So I wanted to build a space where our South Asian outfits—preloved, new, heirloom, or contemporary—could find new homes and new stories. A place where we could refresh our closets, share our culture, and connect through style. After all, we all have something tucked away in our pantry waiting for its next moment.

And yes—Panna is my nickname. Panna’s Pantry is my way of blending my love for fashion with my South Asian roots, and bringing the beauty of our designers closer to home here in the U.S. Every piece we share helps bridge cultures, closets, and communities—one outfit at a time.
